Course contents
Course description:
This Department assembly presents an introduction into studies at the Photography Dept. and in the first section is focused on introducing technical equipment use and devices and the studies and requirements set upon the students.
Students present their work defend it and group discussions introduce the instructors to the to-date work of the students, their knowledge and viewpoints and allow a better understanding of their skills, distinction and deficiencies. The purpose is to introduce students to each other and to the Photography Dept. head instructors.
The assembly takes place in the Classroom, Exercise and Housing Center in Beroun for 2 -3 days. Accommodations are secured on location.
Tasks:
Students are required to submit their photography work which were part of the admissions procedure and others which characterize primarily their free creativity.
A part of this is an exercise on a topic defined at the beginning. Students therefore are to bring their own cine-cam photography equipment.
Transport:
Students are to secure their own travel to the location.
A bus leaves from the Radlická Metro station in the direction of Beroun. More information is provided to the students before the beginning of the academic school year.
Place and time:
UVS Beroun, at a time announced before the beginning of the academic school year.

Grading:
Credit is awarded for active participation, presentation of photography and management of the assigned task. Participation is required - Excuse from class for illness only.
