Learning outcomes of the course unit
This module focuses on the overlap of the gaming industry and free art. It notes the technical potential of modern computer games and application of that potential (real-time rendering in a 3D environment, narrative strategy) in the context of contemporary art. The module attempts to include computer games as a part of our everyday experience and free it from other sources of inspiration.

Course contents
This module focuses on an overview of current trends in the contemporary gaming industry, independent inticatives and branches for potential development. The module is comprised of two parts:
- Presentation of current trends and independent games
- LAN Game Session - playing selected examples in a group.
