Note: This module is primarily intended for Dept. of Still Photography students, photography material restoration studio and CAS film restoration students.
Max: 4 students
Comment: This course is focused on the restoration of the negative material. Negatives on glass underlay, flat negaives, film negatives, cinema film, microfilm and projection film. Gradually in individual steps, from the creation of restoration intentions, photographic documentation, identification of types of plastic underlays, various types of cleaning, removal of glue and paste remains, repair of broken glass negatives, repair of damaged plastic negatives, manners of adjustment. Completing the restorer's report.
