Learning outcomes of the course unit
The aim is a preparation for the study of additional music subjects and creative practice with music in given music specilizations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
A basic good orientation in music concepts, knowledge of notation and experience playing a musical instrument.
Course contents
The objective of the course is to prepare students for the study of other music courses and for practical creative work with music in the capacity of individual professional specialisations. The students are introduced to basic music concepts, learn how to analytically interpret individual components of music, and understand their particular effect in the overall expressive effect of a piece of music.
