Learning outcomes of the course unit
The aim of the course is to guide the student to a multi-faceted broadening of a musical experience employable in their creative sound practice.
Mode of study
Playing a musical instrument.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Natural musical aptitude.
Course contents
The course is specially aimed at preparing students for their future profession as a sound engineer or sound director. The objective is not to make musicians out of them but to comprehensively expand their musical experiences in many directions and their knowledge in the most effective possible way - through practical contact with the musical instrument working on interpretational assignments.
Recommended or required reading
According to individual study plans, instruction for interpretation is assigned in appropriate, technically manageable music literature of various historical periods and genres.
Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on successful performance in the credit performance.
