Course contents
Introducing students to fundamental models of developing sound data from recording to post-production. Explication of the importance and significance of metadata, its potential, organization and continuity. Potential exchanges of sound data between editing and sound (post)production. Importance and potential of EDL, AAF, XML.
Reconforming - adjustment of an already developed project according to the re-edited video material.
Practical examples in software: synchro Arts - Titan, Sound in Sync - Ediload, Virtual Katty, The Cargo Cult - Conformalizer, Avid - Pro Tools Ultimate.
