The instruction aim is an acquaintance of issues in the computer processing of sound in ProTools.
Mode of study
Contact instruction. Presentation of the instructor experience. Discussion. Individual assignments focused on practicing with the ProTools system.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
General knowledge of computers.
Course contents
(Basics of computer sound processing)
Course content is an introduction to issues in computer processing of sound in ProTools.
Introduction to the Apple OS X operating system
Introduction to software and hardware for AVID ProTools 8.xx and 9 HD
Knowledge of working with ProTools 8.xx
