Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course aim is to demonstract ability to independently develop partial trade issues in Sound or Sound Technology.
Mode of study
Guided discussion, analysis of subject matter and texts. Instructor activity.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of „Sound“ in the previous study year.
Course contents
The objective of the course is for students to demonstrate their ability to work independently on a theoretical problem in sound design or sound technology. Students are given an individual assignment that relates to their specialisation. The assignment can be expanded and further elaborated into a theme for the bachelor thesis. Ongoing consultation on the assignment is provided and in the end the assignment is evaluated.

Assessment methods and criteria
Grades and credit are awarded based on the evaluation of the submitted theory paper which is judged as to how it maintained the assignment and its quality.
