Learning outcomes of the course unit
The aim of the course is to systematically cultivate for and develop analytical skills and concurrently check specific analyses.
Mode of study
Dialogue, discussions, analysies of animated films.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
No prerequisites for registration to the course.
Course contents
The course is divided into three parts, each of which has its own programme. The third and fourth semesters are devoted to learning about individual national schools of animated film, the fifth semester is devoted to analyses of school exercises, graduation films, and films by graduates of the department, and the sixth semester focuses on analyses of particularly significant and structurally interesting animated films.

Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on elaborating and presenting a paper over the analysis of animated film or elaboration of a course paper.
