Course contents
Students with the teacher´s guidance reveal the essence of the famous city and the culture that had formed it and still forms. They leave the beaten daily paths to explore the urban jungle textbook of modern times in Central Europe. Prague Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Prague, which knocked down walls to give rise to new settlements and finally Prague so remote that its inhabitants hold a trip to see Charles Bridge.
From the structure of the city we move to its particularities - houses, parks, events, suburbs, often neglected and falling apart.

Assessment methods and criteria
Please send me the text NOT longer than 2 pages and write the reflection of the 2nd semester of our tours. Most ideally your perception of Prague before/after/during the course. If it has risen your awareness of places or more precisely of differences between them. Posh, calm, dirty, labour Prague for example. I am not trying to push you into one way of thinking about the topic, please feel free to reflect the course as you wish. Please be honest, and be especially honest with the sources (quote them). Use the recap e-mails I sent after every tour we had as a source of information. I will read it, comment on it and maybe even not agree with written statements. You know me already.
Send me your text asap, it is your responsibility to have it done before the KOS system is closing and before your Transcript of Records is done. You also never know how fast I am in reading and commenting on your text. Anyway, the deadline is May 31, 2019.
Note
Please get ready for a portion of walk in any weather.
Have some money on you. We will need some refreshment.
Please, have a valid public transport card.
All tours will be announced in Google Calendar shared with FAMU International students and via e-mail with all registered students. Please check your school e-mail account regularly.
