Learning outcomes of the course unit
An encounter with one young author - Elisa Amoruso, after screening of her film students may confront themselves regarding their projects and careers with a young professional who is also a trainer in the field. Topic will range from creative documentary (from idea to realization) to screenwriting and management of a career in film and TV.

Course contents
Elisa Amoruso is one of the most successful young directors and screenwriters in Italy and her documentary Fuoristrada/ Off Road (2013) won many prizes and has been screened at many international festivals. Among the awards she gathered the Jury Special Prize at Rome Film Festival in 2015.
She has worked for other Italian directors and is currently teaching at Rome University of Fine Arts RUFA.
As part of the visit of RUFA to FAMU foreseeing possible partnerships in the future, she is presenting her film and later on Friday afternoon she will meet the students while having a masterclass on creative documentary, her career and projects.
