Ability to understand and use contemporary video post production workflow including preparing video for editing, VFX, grading, mastering primarily in the DaVinci Resolve environment.

Course contents

  1. Introduction to a various post production pipelines, on set supervision basics
  2. Data ingesting and preparation for editing using Davinci Resolve
  3. Conforming edits into the online quality using Davinci Resolve, preparation for VFX and grading
  4. Introduction to a various compositing possibilities using Nuke, After Effects, Fusion or Flame
  5. Compositing Basics I
  6. Compositing Basics II
  7. Analysis of student exercise 1
  8. Game engines implementation into the VFX pipeline using Unreal Engine
  9. Preparation for grading, basic theory about color spaces and LUTs workflow
  10. Grading Basics I using Davinci Resolve
  11. Grading Basics II using Davinci Resolve
  12. Grading Basics III using Davinci Resolve
  13. Mastering and making deliverables
  14. Course summary

Attendance is 100% compulsory except with permission of teacher. Lateness will be considered to be a missed class. Missed classes are not permitted.
