The course aim is a review of the moving image and its historical and theory context.

Mode of study

The course is made up of the following: screenings of selected works, lectures, discussion, and possible visits to current exhibitions/screenings.

Course contents

The topic of course is the moving image and its script in broad sense of this connection. Narrative approaches outside of film in the contemporary moving image will be investigated as well as chapters from the history and theory of the moving image. An inseparable part of the course is the discussion about viewed pieces/examples and as well (if there is interest) the creations of students in relation to the moving image.
