Introduction to the phonetic, grammatic and lexical basics of the given language.
Ability to react in simple everyday situations.

Reading, listening, presentation of and practice of grammar structures and lexis, Moderated dialogues.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
A requirement for registration is a knowledge of the language corresponding to lower level courses.

Class participation, completion of assignments, completion of the final exam.

Otherwise, the student will not be awarded credit nor permitted to sit the exam.
