Learning outcomes of the course unit
Ability to guide implementation work on costuming and masks according to one's design proposals and models. Preparation of a production for DISK, HAMU Opera Studio or possibly, professional theatre, film or TV. Acquisition of experience in the implementation of a set-design.
Mode of study
Set-design collaboration in exercises and exams. Assisting in a professional theatre.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Not only artistic but also manual abilities and skills. Informed about technology. Technical knowledge. Professional communication skills.
Course contents
Documenting design, selecting materials, realizing costumes and masks. Patination, coloring, making of details, makeup. Supervising DISK workshops. Participation in rehearsals.

Study materials are related to individual titles being produced, projects and technologies.
Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on the submitted report and documentation of an executed scenic design.
