By the end of the course students will:
-write and finalize the script for the graduation project
-learn how to effectively present the concept of the project and their director´s vision of its audiovisual interpretation

Course contents
This class will provide specific, practical and aspirational guidance to the student director regarding how to transform a script into a fully realized short film. Essential questions will be posed to the class to help cultivate an active and engaged community of directors who will learn how to develop their specific and unique strengths into a directorial approach that serves the story.
As an integral part of the class, students present the progress of their work and their directing vision to guest teachers and members of the faculty.

Assessment methods and criteria
Minimum required attendance to the class is + 70%
Pass grade is given based on the the active participation in guided and non-guided discussions, Story presentation and Director's pitch.
The course grade will be calculated as follows:
Attendance of the classes - 30%
Story presentation- 30%
Directors pitch - 40%
Story presentation - in week 2-3 of the course, students present the story outline to Mentor and guest teacher from FI faculty
Director's pitch - in week 8-9 of the course, students present the project and its directing interpretation to the mentor and guest teacher from the faculty
