FILM: DRAMA AND EPIC
We will begin the course with an introduction to concepts relating to drama, as well as epic and lyrical narrative. We will analyse how these are synthesised through film. In addition, we will think about sorting audio-visual shots into sentences and sequences that deliver a narrative and will attempt to define their direct impact on the audience.
