After successfully completing the course, the student will be able to:
- Build vocabulary in meaningful, relevant context

B2/B2+ input level of English is expected.
Course contents
This course is designed to help students communicate more effectively and confidently in spoken English for variety of purposes: class discussions, presentations etc.
This course is suitable for both native Czech-speakers as well as international students who wish to improve their oral skills, including pronunciation and stress, and build their vocabulary.

Study materials will be handed out to the enrolled students on a weekly basis.
Assessment methods and criteria
Credit is awarded based on:
- class attendance (min. 70%)
- class participation
- in-class presentation
All three elements are considered for the award of credit. The attendance and in-class presentation are required for credit.
