Learning outcomes:

Knowledge and understanding:

After finishing the course, the student:

•will be able to define concepts and key terms in area of branding, advertising and market research

•will be able to demonstrate knowledge of structure and strategies of arts marketing

•will be able to describe and effectively apply principles and tools of PR and crisis communication

Skills and abilities:

After finishing the course, the student:

•will show improved English proficiency in all competencies (reading, speaking, reading, listening)

•will be able to speak and write competently for a variety of purposes, such as public speaking, effective e-mail writing and describing and dealing with problems

•will be able to distinguish various decision making styles and employ various decision making strategies

•will demonstrate ability to use selected soft skills, such as negotiating and discussing in group

Hodnoticí metody a kritéria

Assessment components (min. 60% to pass):

•Attendance and participation in class discussion 20%

•Quizzes 1-4 40%

•Final quiz 40%

Please note that the required attendance is 70%. If you do not meet the attendance requirements, you need min. 80% to pass.

If the student cannot come to class for more than 3 continuous weeks, he/she must contact the class instructor to get the study materials and schedule an individual meeting.
