Learning outcomes of the course unit
The instruction aim is to introduce students to culture management and support systems in European countries and a comparison of those systems with those domestic.
Mode of study
Classes combining lectures and discussions and student presentations of their course paper.

Course contents
- Cultural policy of European countries.
- European Theatre systems.
- Grant systems in selected cities.
- Theatre system in the Slovak Republic.
- Concept of national theatre in the 21st century.
- Finance and management of opera stages.
- Comparison of our system and European standards.
