Systematic preparations of Camera Dept. students to position as the DoP for shooting a documentary film. Discussions, analyses, screenings.
An awareness of the boundlessness of genres in film, Equal use of expression tools (feature film vs. documentary)
- development of the cameraman - director relationship.
- adoption of basic lighting principles and use of ambient light in documentary genres.
- discussions about projects (terminology of basic thoughts and motivation and their conveyance to collaborants).

- Cinematic formats.

- DVCAM - HD - DigitalCinema - new - free technology
