Learning outcomes of the course unit
The seminar Graphic Design and Photography 6 focuses on the search for individual approaches in the realization of graphic designs, which are the accompanying line of students' own artistic activities. Learning outcomes should be the ability to create innovative solutions, catalogs and other accompanying materials related to the core curriculum. In the given semester students will focus on the output in the form of a catalog of their own exhibition project, which will serve as its documentation. The output should be a comprehensive book.
Mode of study
Teaching in the seminar takes the form of individual consultations, presentation of examples and explanation of work in the software.

The prerequisite is the seminar Graphic Design and Photography 5
Course contents
• Document Layout
• Loose composition / grid system
• Working with font, font selection, rules of smooth typesetting
• Rhythmization of printed matter, gradation, visual accent
• Image editing
• Paper selection and printing methods
• Binding possibilities and finalization of printed matter
• Combining work with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation:
Winter semester – classified credit
Summer semester – exam
The subject of evaluation is submission of the final file, printed model, or photo documentation of the realized project. The creative invention is evaluated, as well as the technical processing of the document.
The prerequisite for granting credit is regular attendance at the seminar.
