By the end of the course students will:

-understand the drama development

-create the drama using balanced, logical and supported argument

-be able to work autonomously with limited supervision

-communicate clearly, fluently and effectively in a range of styles appropriate to the context

-engage effectively in debate and present arguments in a professional manner

Course contents

During this course, students learn fundamental knowledge for writing a script:

first idea, originality of the proposal and mystery of the creation of artificial reality

communication between character and the plot,what is necessary to know about your characters, set up and pay off.

structure analysis - Aristotle's Poetic, three act and five-act drama, exposition, collision, crisis, peripety, catastrophe.

Mythology.

The magic of development and polish.

Assessment methods and criteria

Minimum required attendance to the class is + 70%

The students are evaluated based on the class activity, the written assignments and written test.

The course grade will be calculated as follows:

Attendance of the classes - 20%

Activity in class - 20%

Written assignment - 20%

Written test - 40%

Each student will write an analysis of the film structure to prove rigor and depth of research, clarity, originality and critical consideration.
