Course contents
Students try to capture a little narration without the option of using either motion picture or sound. The final sequences of photographs will serve as an example of storytelling. A variety of shots (long shot, medium shot, close up), imitating motion (panning, tilting), and changing the depth of field in combination with changing focus are the means to help you in capturing the narration. Also, do not forget about different focal lengths of your lenses; zoom-in zoom-out brings a remarkable action feeling.
You either invent a little story or try to make one out of your daily experience. The character will be Prague, a city quarter, a colleague of yours or a human being in general.
What is the output?
16 printed pictures discussed during our final meeting.
