The seminar Graphic Design and Photography 6 focuses on the search for individual approaches in the realization of graphic designs, which are the accompanying line of students' own artistic activities. Learning outcomes should be the ability to create innovative solutions, catalogs and other accompanying materials related to the core curriculum. In the given semester students will focus on the output in the form of a catalog of their own exhibition project, which will serve as its documentation. The output should be a comprehensive book.

Hodnoticí metody a kritéria

The author's catalog of one's own exhibition project can be one of the ways to preserve a certain report or documentation about a time-limited exhibition, art installation, or event. Thanks to appropriately chosen strategies in the catalog, there can be a successful interaction between the work itself and the content context of the project. Compared to the previous semester, this is a much more demanding output, where it is also necessary to take into account the technical and material problems related to the implementation of the final publication. Appropriate selection of paper, the chosen reproduction technique and the method of binding can enhance the overall tone of such a publication. The artistic invention, the ability of continuous critical reflection of one's own work, as well as the technical processing of the press document are evaluated.

Evaluation:

Winter semester – classified credit

Summer semester – exam

The subject of evaluation is submission of the final file, printed model, or photo documentation of the realized project. The creative invention is evaluated, as well as the technical processing of the document.

The prerequisite for granting credit is regular attendance at the seminar.
