Course contents
Learning objectives:
In this course, students build on the knowledge and skills acquired in prior Bachelor's studies - they are equipped with very good fingering technique, intonation, rhythmic feeling, good tonal culture, and above all, display very good musical imagination based on talent and knowledge. Talent is understood as unique and therefore treated in such a way that it develops its individuality during the course of study. The principle of expert confrontation of the student's views with those of the professors on interpretation is practiced. Intensive preparation for stage performance, the psychology of stage performance and the practice of playing from memory are also taught. The repertoire is oriented both to pieces that are indispensable for concert activity and to international competitions in the current time frame.
Thematic areas:
- Identification of the student's own artistic profile and, accordingly, the choice of his/her personal repertoire
- The question of personality, self-realization, uniqueness and mastership of each student
- Psychological issues of stage performance, concentration and relaxation
- Specifics of participation in auditions and competitions, study of competition and concert repertoire
