The educational outcome is a creative approach and reflection of the existing theoretical and practical work, student is able to select and use an appropriate methodology for collecting material for the chosen topic, setting up a timetable for the preparation of the master's thesis.

Course contents
Learning objective:
The content of the course is the preparation and subsequent implementation of the academic text of the diploma thesis.
Supervisors assist in the selection of sources, literature, methods of processing the obtained materials and their classification. They help in the selection of data collection methodology and subsequently in the work on the structure of the future text.
Thematic areas:
- Choosing an appropriate methodology for collecting evidences on the selected topic.
- Selection of appropriate literature.
- Study of this literature and other sources.
- Preparation of some specific form of data collection (collecting and sorting of sources, organizing of observations, preparing interviews for oral historical research and collecting them, creating questionnaires, guessing suitable respondents etc.).
- Creating an outline for the thesis.
- Familiarization with the school's internal regulations for thesis submission, citation standards and their application.

Assessment methods and criteria
Regular consultations with supervisor to collect documents and sources on the chosen topic, work on of the thesis outline, gradual submission of parts of the diploma thesis to the thesis supervisor, incorporation of comments according to his instructions.
