Learning outcomes of the course unit
Course graduate:
- will cultivate the ability to recognize and define thematic and formal area of own artistic interests;
- will cultivate the ability to perceive real and performative situation, its structure, dynamics and particular elements;
- will develop the ability to work systematically and consistently with the selected performative form;
- will examine own material/object/body based conceptual thinking.

Course contents
Directing class will lead the students towards understanding principles of theatre composition, rhytmisation and visualisation. They will practice directing and composition exercises in the group to become aware of relations of bodies, objects and space. They will also train how to work with presence of performers and their actions to create performative situations. Furthermore, they will be encouraged to research and identify the directing tools that allow them to follow their own creative ways of thinking.
