Learning outcomes of the course unit
The basic ambition of the program is to support student independent critcal thought which leads to the discovery of one's functional manners and devices which enable them to resolve work-related and personal situations. This begins with the idea that the student has sufficent knowledge and impetus in their work, and in the course we learn to use these to increase our competences.
Mode of study
Instruction is through case studies which students bring from their own practice. They learn how to learn from their own experience and use this for strengthening their completences. During instruction students are placed in situations which allow them to, together, to find appropriate or possible resolutions.
The basic tool of instruction is entreprenurial in focus, that is projects, manner of execution, finance and addressing the market, that is consumers.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
This module is primarily intended for those studenst who wish to start a business, or is interested in entrepreneurialship.
Instruction starts with the assumption that the students are independent, educated people who wish to be successfull in their work and work to develop themselves. Entrepreneurialship is the peak of their preparations and desires to support students in entrepreneurialship and entrepreneurial thinking.
Course contents
Students, in case studies learn to implement their ideas, entreprenurial intentions or project. They have he opportunity to bring to instruction their entreprenurial plans and use their colleagues, instructor and guess for their improvement and constructive feedback. Students, together investigate paths which lead to successful results with and emphasis on using their strong sides and resources. Work on case studies enables a focus instruction on emphasized differences in the thinking of entrepreneurs, managers and employees. This enables students to find their own role which is for each individual appropriate considering their focus, resources and values.
Part of instruction may be gues who represent professional investors. They provide students feedback and with this enable them to improve their entreprenurial intentions and manner of its representation which increases the probability of their success.
