Learning outcomes of the course unit

Writing a professional text under the supervision of an experienced journalist. The five best texts will be published on the dokrevue.cz portal and their authors will be offered cooperation with foreign editors of the Modern Times Review. The student will gain valuable knowledge and practical experience shared by experts from the international and czech scene, feedback on their text and the possibility of cooperation with renowned foreign and czech periodicals.

Mode of study

Teaching is led by lecture blocks and practical exercises in writing the text of reviews, interviews, commentaries, essays, etc..

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Personal participation of students at the Jihlava IDFF from 27 to 31 October 2021.

Accreditation for Media and Document works as a classic festival accreditation. Students have access to the festival program (except the industry program), plus the Media and Documentary seminar.

The student must arrange accommodation in Jihlava and pay for it from his own resources.

The cheapest accommodation is a hostel iin Třešť or a gym in Jihlava.

Or it is possible to book a place in one of the hostels (list on request), price 340 CZK / night.
