Learning outcomes of the course unit
To introduce the students to the particulars of camera use in animated film in the sense of a creato and technician.The student should be able after the course to professionaly communicate with workers in post-production, a skill which will be used in future creations. As well the lectures should lead the student to an improved understanding of working with the cameraman in the future. This will allow the student to better orient themself in the potential and limitations in creating an image in animation.

Fundamental knowledge from the „Film technology“ course. Fundamental knowledge about recording animated films.
Course contents
Topics:
1)Lighting of scenes. Basics of context between set design and camera in animated film..
2)History and current technology in Animated film. Using of traditional approach in current digital technology.
3)Basics of digital scanning with the preference of optical image
4)Film tools and practical experience from shooting of Animated film
