Learning outcomes of the course unit
To introduce students with the particular camera resources in animated film in the creative and technical sense.The student should be able, upon completion, to professionally communicate with colleagues in post-production in future creations. As well the lectures will guide the students to a better understanding of the cameraman's work with which they will have future contact. This enables better orientation in the potential and limits in animated image creation. Instruction is through lectures with practical examples of the technology and techniques in tha Animation People film studio. As well the students will get a chance to observe current filming, or prepared scenes in which the filming modes and potential is presented. Student will to a large extent be presented with international animation creations with consideration of the various scanning technologies.

Topics:
1/ The fundamental physics concepts in film and a review of some elements from the „Film Technology“ course.
2/ Various technology and possibilities in recording animated film with an emphasis on „hand animation.“
3/ The technological processin completion and postproduction in animated film and potential intervention into the image during and after filming.
