Learning outcomes of the course unit
By the end of the course students will be able to:
-experience adaptability, resilience and a search for creative solutions
-extend appreciation for disciplines outside of their specialty, develop mutual respect for each other's contributions
-apply strategies for creative collaboration
Mode of study
An intensive out-of-Prague workshop aimed at making a short film based on the specification. Cinemadance helps to prepare students - filmmakers to create short films within a structured, supportive „boot camp“ environment that promotes creativity and maximizes collaboration. By completion, all the challenges of the boot camp have been met - participants have completed their shorts as a direct result of the collaborative process.
The workshop is designed to serve the needs of a variety of students, all students, regardless of level, gain an understanding of the requirements and rigors of filmmaking, as well as experience the exhilaration of making a short film in a group with assigned positions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Required attendance is 100 %
Pass grade is based on the active participation, ability of collaborative approach and successful presentation of film fulfilling the assignment.
The course grade will be calculated as follows:
Activity - 40%
Collaborative approach- 40%
Film presentation - 10%

The study load corresponds to 3 US credits.
