Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students will learn what is a job of 1st AD both on set and in pre-production, how to work as an AD with the director as well as the production department, what are the biggest challenges and obstacles.

Students are recommended to bring highlighters.
Course contents
Students will learn about the job from a personal experience of professional 1st AD. The module will be divided into several parts:
- Introduction to roles and responsibilities and general overview of AD work
- Preproduction work of an AD (including working with Movie Magic Scheduling software)
- Running the set
- Q&A
During the module, there will be a showcase of documents and examples from one of the latest works of Shakir Hafoudh. Students are encouraged to ask questions during the whole module.
