The course combines preparation, independent work and contact teaching. We model contact teaching as frontal teaching. Even in the distance learning version, we conduct the course in the form of online lectures using independent preparation and a set methodology for frontal teaching. Modular teaching includes a theoretical and a practical part, the individual blocks are freely linked to each other.
Learning outcomes
Students will acquire a basic knowledge and information in the field of management and career planning, get acquainted with basic concepts of marketing, economics, law and fundraising. In the practical part, they will test their basic skills in formulating and, if necessary, securing funding and promotion of their projects/startups or in drawing up a simple budget/promotion of a planned event.
Prerequisites and other requirements
The course is intended for students in English study programmes, exchange students, foreign interns, or students of all three faculties of the Academy of Performing Arts, especially of artistic disciplines (interpretation, production, etc.) who are interested in increasing their awareness of self-management skills.
