Contents

This course is allocated to two semesters. The introductory semester is proceed in the form of seminars and lectures over the history of television adaptation and practices in approaches in individual genres and styles, including their comparisons. At the close of the first semester the students prepare a detailed director’s screenplay of a television program in which they must master the basics of television technology, and the accordant dramaturgic-production-directorial preparations. The second semester is more dedicated to practice in which the students, under the guidance of an experienced director, they go through the entire process of shooting a television production.

Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is an extension of the qualification groundwork of our graduates and for better application of those qualifications in practice. Aside from this, they will gain experience in the use of television and film technology which in multimedia is evermore present in contemporary theatre.

Prerequisites and other requirements

The condition is the completion of the bachelor level study of direction and dramaturgy.
