Contents
The content of this theoretical work during one semester is to introduce students of film set design to the work of Czech and international film set designers. The student, in consultation with the teacher, will choose a personality and at least one of the films on which the chosen set designer worked. The final paper includes a brief biography of the set designer and an analysis of the artistic design of one or more films on which this author worked.
Learning outcomes
The student can reveal and describe the scenographic concept of the film and can comment on it and, if necessary, evaluate it. The seminars include screenings of the films and discussion about their visual design.

Evaluation methods and criteria
The student works on a final project assigned by the teacher at the beginning of the semester.
During the final presentation, the student presents his/her project to the evaluation committee and answers their questions. The committee evaluates the content of the project and emphasizes the comprehensibility of the verbal presentation. Knowledge of film history and the ability to reflect theoretically on a film work are also evaluated.
