•First part: grey chart test shots, exposure and tonality tests; over- and underexposure.
-all students shoot together for half a day. teacher present
•second part: Basic motion picture lighting in studio; balancing exterior/ interior.
Creating of essential atmospheres through lighting: day, evening, night.

•2 film prints: basic and graded
Learning outcomes
Being an essential part of the “lighting seminar 1+2” of the first year’s master program, this exercise is an essential part of the cinematography student’s education.
