Contents
This class will provide specific, practical and aspirational guidance to the student director regarding how to transform a script into a fully realized short film. Essential questions will be posed to the class to help cultivate an active and engaged community of directors who will learn how to develop their specific and unique strengths into a directorial approach that serves the story.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course students will:
-develop an idea and a concept of the story for the graduation film
-develop further their skills in presenting their own idea and story to others and how to provide a feedback to other presentations

Evaluation methods and criteria
Minimum required attendance to the class is + 70%
Pass grade is based on the the active participation in guided and non-guided discussions, Idea presentation and Story presentation:
The course grade will be calculated as follows:
Attendance of the classes - 30%
Idea presentation- 30%
Story presentation - 40%
Idea presentation - In week 6-7 of the course, a student presents the story outline to Mentor and guest teacher from FI faculty
Story presentation - in week 8-9 of the course, a student presents the project and its directing interpretation to the mentor and guest teacher from the faculty
