Learning objectives:
The content of the Didactics of Dance Education 2 course focuses mainly on the pedagogical intention and practical acquaintance with the tools needed to fulfill this intention. The teaching emphasizes the deepening of creative pedagogical thinking, independent thinking and the ability to reflect.
The course builds on the Pedagogical Proseminar course. It is taught in two semesters.
The aim of the course is to deepen independent creative pedagogical thinking. The student practically learns to work with professional material, to search for inspiration, to draw on his/her own experience, and to formulate, prepare and implement a simple pedagogical plan and creative procedure. Emphasis is placed on active participation in the teaching process through the selection of teaching methods and forms of teaching, which are a prerequisite for the development of natural movement with respect for the age and personality specifics of children.
A compulsory component of the Didactics of Dance Education course is attendance at a regional or national round of a dance show organized by the Ministry of Education and Science or NIPOS ARTAMA, or other professional organizations, taking into account the student's specialization.
