Contents
This course is oriented towards the development of “audience abilities“ - the student will go and see the performances (local as well as guests) and later analyze them. They should be able to discuss the performance,
describe its dramaturgical structure, and presents the artistic language in its complexity. At the same time, the students will be encouraged to compare their experience with their local aesthetical
and theatrical language. Furthermore, we will develop the ability to contextualize and generalize means used in the performative arts and possibly compare them with our own artistic language.
Learning outcomes
Course graduate:
- will be familiar with the diverse network of Prague theatre and performance structure;
- will cultivate the ability to analyze a performance and discuss them;
- will cultivate the ability to defend its analytical opinion and contextualize it.
