Contents
This course will introduce installation, intermedia, video projection and diverse technologies as means to compose and guide the audience through an immersive, participatory or contemplative experience in which the content heavily relies on the use of media. Media will be used to compose the background or environment in which the performance takes place
Learning outcomes
Course graduate:
- will be familiar with diverse modes of presence in theater and performative practices;
- will acquire the ability to compose scenic situations elaborating relationships between objects, space and their presence;
- will cultivate the ability to respond to the dramaturgical needs of different contexts;
- will be familiar with different performance strategies to define the role of the performer and the audience within the system of the performance;
- will educate their body in self awareness and movement compositions to enlarge the range of their performing possibilities;
- will be able to perform systems using objects, space, materials as an extension of presence or as the performative presence themselves without a performers interaction; - will acquire the skills to perform open systems that include the participation of audience.
