The Clausura exam is a presentation of the results of practical and artistic subjects (realization of assignments, exercises, own artistic projects). The exhibition project, which is part of the SZZ, is presented by the student as a work in progress and is accompanied by a written explication. The presentation includes an elaborated conceptual plan, examples of the project, choice of materials, proposal for the final installation, methods of adjustment, etc. The listener will receive clarification from the thesis supervisor regarding the chosen media and type of project.
This is a rehearsal during the exam period at least 3 weeks prior to the installation of the final exhibition project.
Learning outcomes
The committee, consisting mainly of the heads of the studios of the KF, conducts a critical discussion with the aspirant, the aim of which is primarily to reveal the weak and problematic points of the project. It gives feedback and recommends possible technical or technological solutions. The feedback serves the aspirant to develop a finalization and installation plan. It also provides him/her with the basis for refining the presentation, explication and overall preparation for the subject part of the CAP and its presentation before the CAP committee.
