the course follows a study trip to Kutná Hora on 27 December 2022, where students visited the Vál sisters' exhibition at GASK Kutná Hora and took part in a tour of the city, especially the church of St. Barbora, Ossuary and Santini's church.The participated students processed the inspired sources in the form of a presentation for other students.

On Thursday there will be a presentation on the subject of the Válova sister painters - their work in the context of the second half of the 20th century based on the political and cultural context.On Friday, there will be a presentation on Kutná Hora and its significance in the historical context, aesthetics and reasons for building baroque ossuaries.

Learning outcomes

Deepening the context and role of art against the background of historical events getting to know the historical context in the Czech lands and deepening knowledge about the Czech Republic elaboration of themes based on personal experience and subsequent artistic research.
