Obsah
The seminar is aimed at teaching the student how to conceptually develop the theatre performance and to describe it in the form of a director’s copy. Final semester work is oral and written formulation of the staging concept, its presentation and defence.
The aim of the course is to develop various narrative procedures that represent ideas proposed by students in the form of communication. The course also includes work from the idea itself to its implementation, as well as the relationship between the chosen narrative strategy and the content of the literary work.
The course combines individual and group work by the student, which requires the confrontation of the ideas of individual course students. The main aim is to develop the dramaturgical skills necessary for the creation of an original work and adaptation and to prepare the basic principles for a graduation performance.

Exercises combining character, problem and plot
Exercises on content modelling through different narrative strategies
Exercises on plot creation using different means of expression and annotation methods
Working on an original script
Výsledky učení
In the area of knowledge (K), the student:
- analyses and distinguishes specific dramaturgical elements of a script
- defines the functions of specific script elements, indicates the characteristic features of various dramaturgical strategies
In the area of skills (S), the student:
- classifies elements necessary to write a specific script, creatively organises the dramaturgical structure by arranging the elements in a certain order
- has the skills necessary to prove the correctness of the specified theses, discusses and criticises the consequences of the tasks performed in the group
In the area of social competences (SC), the student:
- can effectively use imagination, intuition, emotions, creative thinking and work to solve problems, has the skills of flexible thinking, adaptation to new and changing circumstances

Credits are awarded for:
-class participation, the ability to formulate and defend one's own opinion, the ability to think outside the box, participation in discussions, independence in seeking inspiration, and the ability to use knowledge to formulate one's own message
-final semester work
3 excused absences per semester are tolerated.
