Obsah
The course will be conducted in a workshop format, combining theoretical reflection with intensive artistic experimentation. Students will engage with a variety of tools and methods at the intersection of puppetry, multimedia, and performance art.
Core areas of exploration include:
- Integration of digital and interactive media into live performance.
- Investigation of the relationship between physical objects, bodies, and their digital counterparts.
- Use of 3D scanning, virtual environments, robotics, sensor-based interaction, and generative systems.
- Object theatre techniques with a focus on materiality, transformation, and performative presence.
- Development of own artistic ideas for a project
The process will emphasize practical creation, exploratory experimentation, and collaborative work, resulting in a work-in-progress presentation that integrates artistic vision, technical execution, and dramaturgical concepts.
Výsledky učení
Knowledge:
After completing the course, the student will gain a basic overview of current trends in visual and performative art in the context of puppetry. The student will also gain a basic overview of institutions and artistic collectives dedicated to multidisciplinary creation in the DACH area (Austria, Germany, Switzerland).
Skills:
After completing the course, the student will be able to think about performative works in a broader context.
Competencies:
After completing the course, the student will be able to critically reflect on multidisciplinary performative works.

To pass the course, the following is required:
– active participation of the student in at least 70% of the seminars. (30 points) – preparation for meetings according to current assignments (70 points)
