Synopsis:

Attempts at personal creation, translations of dramatic prose and verse texts in prose and verse.

Poetics.

Prerequisites:

The desire to investigate the mystery of the world through speech.

Study Objectives:

1. What it means to write.

2. Why write?

3. What style means.

Outline and Syllabus:

Curriculum:

1. The concept of writing in history.

2. Subjective standpoints.

3. Hermeneutics.

4. Attempts.

Syllabus:

Learn how to read before writing. Writing as a way of understanding the world. Risk of aggresive profiling in a cynical time. Lévinas? Speech as Responsibility for the Other. Learn to write? To act? Or to read? Shouldn?t writing be preceded by the humility of reading? Can you expect the gift of speech without it?

Poetry translation. What rhythm means. Mimesis of translation.
