Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1. To open a path for the students to a greater understanding of the relationships, grounds and effects of the drama training profession.

2. To develop abilities in formulating verbally and in writing theory knowledge in the study, define the basic concepts.

3. Systemize awareness of drama training and related fields.

Mode of study:

Discussion, analyses of texts and samples on various media, group work.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

1. Analytical skills and consideration.

2. Thorough knowledge of curricular documentation.

3. Study of fundamental drama training literature.

Recommended optional programme components:

No elective requirements.

Course contents:

This course focuses on the learning of basic drama training theory issues, active management in the application of practical knowledge and its generalization. The course is taught through classes, the focus being the presentation and discussion of course topical papers.

- Drama training as a system.

- The relation of drama training to other disciplines.

- Educational-psychological knowledge in drama training.

- The theatre and drama as a source of content and methods for drama training.

- Special issues of other disciplines and drama training.

- Seminar paper.
