What distinguishes arts research from simple creation? Research as a tool for learning about content, dichotomy of the object and subject. Research and spiritual learning. Examples of topical periodicals. Open lecture investigating answers in critiques and reviews of artist's works throught the lens of a globally discussable idea „artistic research“ and investigating paths for arranging one's own work into such a context.

A block of excursions to the MARC HAMU Music Acoustics Research Center in which the head, Zdeněk Otčenášek, will explain possible experimental research on the psychological reaction of people to external sound stimuli in examples. Examples will be from basic effect of sound on the listener research and a subjective evaluation of sound color as well as applied research in the area of human voice acoustics (artistic voice phenomena and its changes in relation to study, vocal damage stability and pathological situations) and musical instruments (linked to psychological experiments with innovative constructions ideas for wind instruments and soundboard instruments and space treatments for listening to music).
