- To acquaint students with the basics of vocal education, artistic presentation and stage speech for music theorists.
- Introduce listeners to work with text in a musical context
- To make the students aware of the principles of public speech and their realization

Course contents
The subject of Music and Word 2 is based primarily on mastering the basics of speaking in public
Elements of vocal education, rhetoric, artistic presentation and stage speech for music theorists
- Introduction to the Problem:
Speech development, its meaning and function, physiological speech production, voice hygiene
+ brief diagnosis of participants (free verbal speech)
- Working with text:
Principles of sound writing, practical exercises - loud reading, recitation
(if necessary, recommendations for breathing and voice exercises)
- Principles of artistic rendition and stage speech and their development;
training of a text template, which will later work with music as well
- A lesson on syncretic word and music joining, tracking acoustic differences
parameters of both bands in the selected musical text (reading)
Work at the piano (live co-op for 4 lessons or recording)
- Working with text in a musical context:
comparing the interpretative possibilities of the same text without music and in a musical form;
syllabus of the Czech sentence and phrasing, normative pronunciation
- Metro-rhythmic parameters of speech in relation to content and emotional
the charge of communication (practice of text with music even without music)
- Spatial-acoustic parameters of verbal expression:
adapting the speech to the given space and the level of „sound levels“
- Verbal and nonverbal communication in conjunction with music
preparation of own output - transfer of attention also to nonverbal component of speech
Working in front of the camera (guest-lector with camera for 2 lessons: 10 and 11)
- Preparation of the public speech and its voice implementation;
recommending further education opportunities in this area
- Speaking before the camera:
Non-verbal communication and its use in a given profession
- Performance analysis in front of the camera (individual diagnostics), analysis
the advantages and shortcomings of the musical and musical dispositions of the trainees,
or other recommended breathing, voice and articulation exercises
- Output of the individual trainees
- Summary, discussion, types for further continuous self-education
